TitanTV.com Usage Tips

Tip #1: You can remove channels that you don't receive or watch using the Lineup Manager. Click "Manage" in the "Channel Lineup" box, then click "Edit Channels".
Tip #2: You can have program reminders sent to your cell phone. To enable mobile reminders, click on "Site Preferences", then click on "My Mobile".
Tip #3: You can adjust the size of the text in the TitanTV programming grid. To change this and other settings, click on "Site Preferences"
Tip #4: To optimize your TitanTV experience, remove channels from your lineup that you don't want. To edit channels, click "Manage" in the "Channel Lineup" box, then click "Edit Channels".
Tip #5: You can control the types of information included in the TitanTV programming grid. To change this and other settings, click on "Site Preferences"
Tip #6: Search results can be displayed in grid format by adding "view:grid" to your search. For examples of more advanced search options click on "More Search Options"
Tip #7: Click on a cell in the programming grid to display more information about the program. Click the cell a second time to immediately close the details window.
Tip #8: You can create custom channel lineups that contain channels from multiple lineups for a subset of channels from a single lineup.
Tip #9: You can mark up to 200 programs as favorites. Favorite programs are marked in the programming grid and can also be access by clicking on "Favorite Shows & Movies".
Tip #10: For access to advanced features like channel customization, create your free TitanTV login by clicking "Sign Up".
Tip #11: You can re-order your lineup so your favorite channels appear at the top of your programming grid. Click "Manage" in the "Channel Lineup" box, then click "Edit Channels".
Tip #12: Click on a channel name in the programming grid to see a 72 hour view of the programming on that channel.
Tip #13: Shortcut: Click on the date the first cell of any time header row in the programming grid to immediately be taken back to the current time.
Tip #14: Shortcut: Click on the next or previous arrows in the first cell of any time header row in the programming grid to view programming on the next/previous day at the same time.
Tip #15: Click on the "More" button in the "Tools" box to access advanced functionality like sorting, display size and filters.
Tip #16: The Default Grid Time setting on the Site Preferences/My Preferences page allows you to specify which hour (the current time, primetime, or any other hour) the Schedule page always opens to.
Tip #17: TitanTV members may choose to send text reminders about upcoming programs to their mobile phones.
Tip #18: Filters under the Tools/More button on the Schedule page allow you to temporarily display only movies, sports, High Definition programs, news or other program types in the grid.
Tip #19: The Grid Font Size setting on the Site Preferences/My Preferences page allows you to change the size of the font used on the Schedule page.
Tip #20: The check boxes under the Programming Grid Fields section of the Preferences/My Preferences page allows you to choose how much (or how little) information about the programs to display on the Schedule page.
Tip #21: With a PVR (Personal Video Recorder) installed, programs may be recorded to your computer's hard drive with just a single click.
Tip #22: Channel lineups may be customized to hide unwanted channels, add new channels, and change the channels' display order.
Tip #23: Custom channel lineups may be created containing only your movie channels, sports channels, news and talk channels, educational/children's programming channels, and more. Your imagination is the only limit.
Tip #24: The Schedule page displays three hours of programming by default. You may change this default with the Default Grid Duration option on the Site Preferences/My Preferences page.
Tip #25: If you frequently travel between two or more locations, you may create lineups for each of those locations.
Tip #26: Up to 200 programs may be selected as Favorites. When a Favorite is on the Schedule page, it is indicated on the grid with a star in its cell.
Tip #27: You may choose to send Reminder about upcoming programs to your computer's Calendar application. You may also optionally choose to have the Calendar open an onscreen reminder before a program's air time.
Tip #28: The Search function supports many of the same advanced Operators used by Google and other search engines for building complex search arguments.
Tip #29: Search arguments may be saved for easy recall and reuse.
Tip #30: The Favorite Shows & Movies page allows you to view the upcoming airings of the programs you have selected as Favorites.
Tip #31: Click on a program's cell to open its Details box. Move your mouse off the box (or click again) to automatically close it.
Tip #32: Click on a station's call sign in the leftmost column to view a page containing only that channel's schedule for the next three days.
Tip #33: Shortcut controls in the two leftmost columns between every tenth channel allow you to go forward and back through the schedule by 24 hours at a time and return the grid to the programming for the current time.
Tip #34: The left and right arrows beside the time headers allow you to go forward or back through the schedule by 3 hours with each click.
Tip #35: Grid cells are color coded to indicate each program's primary genre. A legend at the bottom of the Schedule page displays every genre and its color.
Tip #36: Selecting the Use Full Screen Width by Default option on the Site Preferences/My Preferences page allows you the Schedule page to always open to the full width of your browser.
Tip #37: The Print function sends a printer-friendly version of the currently lineup to your printer.
Tip #38: You can change a channel lineup's default name to any name you choose by clicking the Edit Information button on the Site Preferences/My Channel Lineups page.
Tip #39: Becoming a TitanTV member allows you to view the customized lineups in your account on any computer.
Tip #40: The icons for creating reminders, choosing Favorite programs, and controlling PVR (Personal Video Recorder) functions are located in a selected program's Details box. Click the program's cell in the grid to access the icons.
